Refund cheque missing in transit

19 December 2011 sir,

my client has not received his refund cheque due to some reasons. Now what is the procedure for getting information about the returned cheque and how to get that returned cheque.

19 December 2011 lodge a complait/ request with your ITO, he will provide an indemnity and details of your refund , execute the same and submit to him, after that duplicate refund order will be issued ( after expiery of cheque validty)
