01 October 2010 i have filed my i.t return in which bank a/c no. is wrong & i got the refund cheque for the wrong a/c no. what should i do to get the refund in my a/c

01 October 2010 You have to make the request letter at income tax office and mention your current account no. and you have also give the refund cheque on which mention the wrong account no.

01 October 2010 You should make an application for correction in a/c no . and enclosed the copy of bank pass book. the I.T.O will correct the new a/c no. on the same refund order and countersign no the cutting or will give a fresh refund order.
