18 February 2010 A resident Individual has filed his return of income for the assessment year 2009-10 on 4th september 2009. He hasn't received his refund of Rs.18000/- till date.
Has anyone got any idea why its taking such a long time to get the refund order and when he is likely to get the refund?

18 February 2010 What the person needs is just a visit to respective Income Tax Department in which the person might have filed Income Tax Return to get the status of his refund, there is no specific reason for such delay.

19 February 2010 I have also not got refund of Rs.12000 though I filed it in Jul itself
