Dear Sir, I had filed return of AY 2011-12 claiming the refund of Rs. 11000/- and return of AY 2012-13 claiming the refund of Rs. 25000/-, and both return was filed electronically on the same day on 25-09-2012. Cpc now has dispatched the refund for the AY 2012-13. When I asked them about the refund of AY 2011-12, they told me that they have transfer the return of AY 2011-12 to local office and I can get further information from local office. In AY 2011-12 the gross recipts of contract business was only 6 lacs and I have declared the net profit of Rs. 90000/- thereon. And to escape from the demand of employees of local office in refund cases I preferred to file online. But in AY 2011-12 I got that situation from which I was tried to escape by filing return online.
Should I wait for local office proceeding or I should go to local office and contact them. Please advise me.

Yes, it may be time being based on the work force at local office. I think wait for some time say one month and then you may contact your local office regarding status of your return and refund process.
