18 June 2012 i have efiled ay-2011-12 online return and send ack to banglore i have claimed rs 185000/- refund i just recvd the refund but only 181000 lesser than i claim in the return i have checked 26as it is ok and other calculation now how to claim additional 4000/- refund please explain in details

18 June 2012 CPC's intimation will have the calculation break up. Pls check if the difference is due to some computation mistake made by you or if full tax credit has not been given. If its the former, you can recalculate and check and file for rectification. If it is due to tax mismatch, pls check if you have filled the TDS details like TAN No. etc correctly. If all details are still right pls file for rectification. CPC may not have full details of your TDS credit. You might want to check that.
