rectification for intimation 143(1)

If you look at the bottom of Online Intimation under section 143(1), you will find that rectification should be filed only with CPC banglore and it is applicable from AY 2009-10. You can also download from www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in a manual for filing online rectification petition. According to the manual we need to file the revised xml if required

if your return was file in manual then you need to write a recti. u/s 154 b (2) in written and give to your AO to rectify
if you have filed filed online return then you can also file online recti. but carefully if you take so much time in typing then the session will be expired to do rectification you must write all the matter first and then do rectification and also you have to upload your xml file ( do correction in return and generate again xml) by this you will uplod rectification safely & easily.
