26 August 2013 Dear Sir

I have submitted income tax return for A.y.2012-13 within due time limit claiming refund Rs.5000

thereafter the department sent an intimation with demand notice of Rs.5000

when I went through the intimation , I found they didn't consider the TDS of Rs.5000 , so I filed rectification on 14/07/2013 but they have not replied till now

so what should I do to get my refund back.

26 August 2013 Don't worry to complete rectification process it takes time one month to two months so wait for some more days atleast one month. Then also you didn't receive any communication from the side of CPC then post here then can i suggest you what has to do.

Above my explanation is with assumption of you submitted your return of income through e-filing.

In case you make a manual filing then also wait for some more days because of the process is depending on the work at AO and then decide what to do.
