Rectification of return

06 January 2012 sir i am filing the income tax return of asst 2010-11 and the income tax department (cpc center) issue a notice fo sec 154 rectification of return, i will claim the tds in ITR 4 but IT department was not Shown the Tds amount of his statement,
and sir one more question tds certificat of form no 16 and form no 26as was not matched which one was claimed
in form no 16A total trancation is 5634670 and tds is 89300 and form no 26as total trancation is 5625360 and TDS is 88450 was shown, which one i will claim,

pls sugest as possible as early

06 January 2012 First check which figure is correct and claim accordingly. If form 16A figure is correct ask the deductor to correct the tds return also.
