Dear Sir
We have filed our income tax return for AY 2013-14 on 30.09.2013 in which by mistake we have shown same income twice under different heads of income. So we have received notice from income tax department to pay tax. Now my Question is Can I Rectify my return u/s 154???? If No than how should I rectify my mistake.

yes u can file a rectification request u/s 154 and can rectify the mistake apparent from the record.

Yes you can do so. Go to your logi page and open rectification then file it giving the reasons. You have to mention the number of assessment order no. received from cpc
