26 May 2008 Dear Expert,

Solve query in urgency

My Query is that we Paid Providend Fund Amount for The PARTNERNSHIP FIRM from Private Limited Company Bank Account.

Please Tell us now how i can correct the Entry.

Or
I should make entry in Partnership firm by Crediting Pvt. Ltd. Company A/c and Debit to Providend Fund A/c

26 May 2008 in my opinion, it will not make any difference to p.f. department, from which account money is coming. so, i see no problem on that part.

now u have to paas entries for accounting adjustment only. ur suggested treartment is correct and also pass relevant entries in pvt. ltd. cos's books also.
