Recognisition of export sales

25 July 2015 shippin bill date is 31.3.15 and bill of lading date is 11.4.15 then export sales should be recognised as export sales on which date ie 31.3.15 or 11.4.15 on cif basis

25 July 2015 Refer to Handbook of procedures vol-1(2015-2020) Para 2.17 Date of reckoning of Import / Export

Para "(b) Date of reckoning of export is decided with reference to date of shipment / dispatch of goods from India as given in Paragraph 9.12 of Handbook of Procedures. However, for benefit under FTP, Let Export Order (LEO) date shall be the date of reckoning of export"

PARA 9.12 Date of Shipment/ Dispatch in respect of ExportsOF FOREIGN TRADE POLICY PROCEDURES 2015-2020


(D) However, for benefit under FTP, Let Export Order (LEO) date shall be the date of reckoning of export.
in view of above LEO DATE OF SHIPPING BILL.
