sir, i am working in pvt sector from 100 km from my house and living at service place and getting house rent allowance from the present employer. my family is living in our own house and i am availing the benefit of section 24b -int on borrowed capital and u/s 80c for repayment principal amount .
now can i avail the benefit for exemption of house rent allowance with benefit of int on borrowed capital and repayment principal amount. pl advice

In my opinion, you can avail both the benefits of HRA as well as home loan interest & principal repayment.
