i'm running a Consultancy since nov. 2009, and i'm getting checks from my clint after the tax deduction, so please give me the total information how can i claim TDS and for that what i've to do.

02 September 2010 TO CLAIM REFUND, FILE THE IT RETURN ITR4 FOR THE F.Y.2009-10.

02 September 2010 File your Income Tax return & deduct the TDS deducted by your client from the total tax payable.

Thus you can claim the benefit.

02 September 2010 Yes file your IT return with calculation of Income less Exp..and in Computation less deduction Chap. VIA afterthan if your net income is less or not as much as that tds then you will received your total refund or excess (TDS -S.TAX) refund by the Department and give the Details of TDS (i.e.deductor name, TAN amount credit or payable & Tax deducted)and last you have to give you bank a/c no. to get cheque or to direct deposit refund into your bank A/c then you have to give MICR code too.
