I am running Proprietorship firm of recruitment. Pl. let me know whether I require service tax no. if my turnover is below 9 Lac p.a.

If your previous turnover exceed 10 lakhs, you required to apply for registration and collect ST from your clients, however, if previous year turnover crossed the 9 lakhs you required to give declaration to the department.
