Dear All,
My client, a manfacturing company is importing material from outside india and re-packing the material in his brand name and company name packing material.
Whether it will be amount to manfacture for a manfacturing company for Excise point of view.
Please tell me with supporting any rule and judgement.

Yes. It amounts to manufacture in view of Central Excise.
