Is there any change in rate of TDS on rent, if yes, what is the new rate and from when it is applicable.

Sir, for which rent, Land & Buildings or for machinery? Land & Buildings TDS is 10% and for Machinery TDS is 2%. No Education cess to be deducted.

Payment in excess of 180000
For all 10% on rent of land and building
And 2% on rent of Plant and machinery 194Ib and 194 Ia respectively.
