rate of int for dealy in pymt of tds & its calculation

31 January 2011 Dear Experts,

i want to know the latest rate of int for delay in payment of tds.

Suppose tds deducted in the month of oct 10, due date will be 7th nov 10.
But tds of oct 10 paid in 7th dec 10 then of how many months int will be payable?

its of 2 months int or
3 months int.
