can a student come in rankings if he is attempting not for the first time? I mean is it important that only first attempt s eligible for getting rank?

Dear Arpendu,
ICAI only considers the marks awarded to the students, attempt is not the decisive factor for awarding rank. The only condition is that there should not be any carry forward of the exemption in the earlier examination.
