I have purchased 100 shares of Icici Bank @ Rs.864. in Oct.2009 on BSE. Since there is no gain or loss,I want to sell this share to my friend at the same rate through off-market transation.Is it cumpulsory from IT point of to sell the shares through Stock Exchange?Please advise.
