Question regarding e filling income tax

15 August 2015 Dear Sir,
My client is a salaried employee he got form 16 against financial year 2014-15
and he also got another form 16 against SUPER ANNUATION FUND but employs filed a case against income tax and company which income they got that is not a taxable income they have correspondence documents which shown that fund principal amount and interest is not a taxable income after that company has deducted their tds on total income and deposited so employs filed a case so my question is if any employee filed a case is it necessary to declare that income in ITR V OR wait till result that amount is taxable or not or they file only form 16 against salary fy 14-15 excluding Form 16 against SUPER ANNUATION FUND Please guide

16 August 2015 amount recd from super annuation fund is taxable to the extent it consists of employer's contribution and interest thereon

19 July 2025 Yes, you should declare the superannuation fund amount in the ITR now, even if a case is pending.
This ensures compliance and avails TDS credit.
After the case outcome, you can take further steps (revision/refund).
