Question on investment property in as-13

As per As-13, if we treat the building as an investment in the financial statements of the company, then what about the depreciation on such building?

How can we charge the depreciation on such buildings which are treated as investment propert as per As-13?

02 November 2011 If you are treating building as investment under AS-13 then you cannot recrd depreciation on it. However if there is permanent fall in value of building u can record it as per AS-13.
