05 April 2010 hello sir, i want to ask 1 query related to listed company.Well if any 1 aquires more than 5% of shares of listed company then what all documents need to be filed to stock exchange and if aquires 2% of shares then what all documents need to be filed to stock exchange? kindly throw light on sellers,buyer and company's duty of disclosure..plzzz rpl as soon as possible its urgent..

07 April 2010 here acquirer is required to file under reg 8(1) of SEBI (Investor protection) guidline declaration with Company with in 7 days of acquisition and company should within 2 day of receipt of such declaration file declaration in Reg 8 (2) with stock exchange
