I have a query can any one reslove it.?

If i make payment from Paypal to foreign resource for service received in india (Through internet), is it legal to make payment through paypal.

If Paypal payment is legal then confirm maximum limit of payment, number of transactions and period.

26 September 2014 Payment is legal, but it has more implications like which service you receiving, and weather that service is taxable in India and what your constitution is like u r firm, individual, company etc, as far as limits and frequency concern there is no limit, but cross check with RBI website.

We are company. And paying amount for translation and transcription,amounting 1usd to 500 usd in bulk,to foreign resource, I also tried to find RBI Circular on net but till now I am unable to find circular such as.

If anyone can help regarding this, I would be thankful..!!

26 September 2014 If you are a company then there is no limit, and as far as service tax is concern I need to check in details, because you may be liable under reverse charge for importing of services.

26 September 2014 I am already paying service tax 12.36% (on amount paid through paypal). But I want to be sure through rbi/it notification.

19 July 2025 PayPal payments to foreign vendors for services are legal for companies.
No maximum limit on payments or transactions for companies.
Service tax/GST on imported services via reverse charge applies.
Ensure proper reporting and documentation.
