29 January 2019 IF TODAY I MAKE CA PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM AND AFTER FEW MONTHS I WANT TO GET MERGE WITH CA PARTNERSHIP FIRM FOR AROUND 3 YEARS AND AFTER 3 YEARS IF I RETIRE FROM THAT PARTNERSHIP FIRM SO WILL I ABLE TO CONTINUE MY PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM WHICH I HAVE MADE 3 YEARS BEFORE? CAN A CA PROPRIETORSHIP FIRM BE PUT ON HOLD?

30 January 2019 you can be proprietor and partner in CA firm at the same time, but for empanelment CA actively engaged in two place is not counted as full time partner, or u can close the proprietor firm at the time of merger and apply for it again in future whenever you want.
