Query Regarding Articleship Transfer

08 March 2008 I am currently doing my articleship in mumbai since June last year.
Due to some personal reasons i would be shifting to Delhi from april.
I would like to know if there is a time limit within which i have to join my articleship in Delhi after terminating it from Mumbai,so that my duration of articleship does not get extended....
Pls help.

08 March 2008 you have to take the new articlship from the next day of your old termination date so that there will not be any gap.

08 March 2008 Ok,it means i will have to plan my termination and joining date.............because i won't be able to join new firm immdeiately...

10 March 2008 Within One month of your termination you should join the other Firm. As per current rules you can opt for transfer based on two grounds ie. Family transfer and Medical ground.
