Procedure for CS Articleship Registration:
1. Eligibility to Start Articleship You can start CS Articleship after passing CS Executive (now called Professional Programme). You must register the articleship within 3 months from the date of commencement. 2. Select an Authorized Principal Find a practicing Company Secretary (PCS) or a company where you can undergo training. Obtain the articleship offer letter or agreement from the principal. 3. Documents Required for Registration Articleship Agreement (duly signed by both trainee and principal). Copy of CS Executive (Professional Programme) result/pass certificate. Identity proof and passport-size photograph. Proof of principal’s PCS membership or company details. Address proof of principal/principal’s office. 4. Filing Form with ICSI The form to be filled for intimation to ICSI is: Form: CSART-1 (Registration of Articleship Training) This form is used to register your articleship with the Institute. It is an online form available on the ICSI official website under the students section. 5. How to Fill CSART-1? Log in to your student account on the ICSI website. Fill in details of: Your particulars (name, enrollment no., contact). Principal’s particulars (name, membership no., address). Details of articleship period (start date, duration). Upload scanned documents as required. Submit the form online. 6. After Submission ICSI will verify the details. Upon approval, the articleship will be officially registered.
