Query on formation of one mother company

14 April 2013 We have family business as various different companies.(4 members) Some Proprietory and Partnership. We want to form a common PvT. Ltd. company and get all these companies under one structure.

Please Advice which is the best way to do it.

22 April 2013 An existing business can be converted in to a company in any of the following ways:
a) by outright sale
b) a company becoming partner of the firm which will be dissolved thereafter
c) by making partners of the firm the only shareholders of the newly incorporated company.

28 May 2013 Yes I agree with the expert but if you are already having companies then you have to sale all the assets to one company and close the other companies and have a single company but kindly take care of the stamp duty.
