we are the pvt ltd co. & if payment of advertising is not exceed Rs 50000 p.a. at this stage we should deduct TDS or not. Please reply.

If the threshold total payment during the year for advertisement is Rs. 30,000/- in a single invoice or exceeds the said amount TDS has to be deducted u/s 194c(2) @ 1% for individual or HUF & 2% for others if PAN No is available, or otherwise 20% should be deducted.

Thanks for the reply, if payment exceeding Rs 30000 but not in a single invoice than what should i do.

If the payment not exceeding Rs 30,000 in a single invoice, the threshold limit is Rs 75,000 per year. i.e. if the total payment for a particular vendor/s exceeds Rs 75,000 in a year then TDS would be attracted on the above said rates.
