I have filed my IT Returns for 2009-10 & 10-11 on Same date In July, 2010 for Refund with the department, but have not recieved the same so i have file RTI Application than I Recieved a Notice from Department for Quoting Wrong Pan and i Replied them by submitting Pan Copy and inform them that i have submitted the same copy with Return also and the error of quoting wrong Pan was Just Jumbling Mistake as 6615 Instead of 6651 but when i went to them they are saying they will deduct my TDS amount and Send Notice for 10,000 Penalty what should i do now Please solve my Query my refund is only 8000 Rupees.

File an application to your ITO that you have wrongly mentioned Your PAN due to pen silp mistake and attach copy of your PAN along with application.
