20 December 2009 hi frnds,
can any one suggest me is it to better to join big firms or small firms after ipcc to get grip over the subject.i completed cpt just in dec 2009 and expecting to get to 185 and above marks.can i expect a rank?

21 December 2009 I would suggest join a Medium size firm so you will have overall knowledge on all subjects plus get more time to study as working hours are flexible unlike big firms where you will be put in audit and your taxation knowledge would be zero and also you will hardly get any time to study for your exams.

21 December 2009 Hey thats good if u r that Confident to score such a good marks ..... see chances of rank depends on overall result ... but there is probability that u can book ur place in Merit List ...

Regarding Articleship , I totally agree with NAvin , that u should go for MId size firm rather than Small or big firms for orpoper scope of work and understanding ... as small work lacks full exposure in each and every field and Big force there r many articles so u wont get diversified workexposure
