22 September 2015 hello sir I pls helpe out. An amoint of 156000 TDS was deducted to an assessee. While filing the return he has claimed only 74000 under 80C. He has not claimed tution fee while return filing can he claim tution fee now by filing revised return ? pls help me out . If yes do we need to show the proofs for that ?

22 September 2015 First check whether the original Return was filed within the due date or not.If filed within due date you can file revised return. Ensure your self to have necessary proofs of all savings. Immediately these are not required but in future if any scrutiny or notice comes, you should be in a position to substantiate your claim and stand by the return what you have filed.
