Registration under Central Excise Act is not required for export. For export IEC Code is must. You cannot export the goods until you have IEC Code. Registration under Central Excise is required only when the goods are excisable & this goods is resulted form manufacturing process. If assessee is trading goods then registration under Central Excise Act is not required.
