30 May 2008 Dear Sir,

I want to know about farm accounting.

If there is 20 cows .
new born cows 10
out of 10 born cows 2 are died then how should i account that?

New calves born will be debited to the account in the UNITS column only and nothing will be debited to the cost column....

And calves died during the year will be credited to the UNITS COLUMN of cattle account....and amount recovered if any will be credited to the amount column
