how to study the quaterly results

See in order to study quarterly results you must be acquainted with various financial terms.
First of all you shoud check increase in sales with increase in cost of goods sold simultaneously.
Check the increase in EBIDTA.Check the depreciation charged and amount of provision of tax created by the company.
Check whether their is amount of deferred tax or not.
Go through the basic and diluted eps carefully.
At last carefully check the notes to accounts and read the AS-17 segment bifurcation.
Read other notes very carefully.
