PT PAYMENT OF DIRECTOR FROM MULTIPLE COMPANIES

If a person is director in more than one company then all the companies need to pay directors PT of rs 2500/- p.a or any one company paying PT for director is enough

If the remuneration paid by the companies are in the nature of salary then each of such company has to pay professional tax separately. If director's service to companies are counted as professional services, then director himself has to obtain PT registration and then pay professional tax.
