29 November 2013 we have incorporated a pvt. ltd. company.As per companies act 2013, 98 sections are made applicable to pvt. co.. Among these sec 11(2) related to default in complying with the requirements of commencement of business is applicable to pvt. co. or not? And what are the relevant provisions related to commencement of business?

This section will be applicable to private companies as well. But this section is not included in the 98 sections that are notified from 12.09.2013. So as of now, this section is not in force.

Can you please explain in detail the requirements to be fulfilled by the private co. regarding commencement of business and consequences of default in complying with the provisions.

The section talks about the declarations to be filed with ROC which 'will be prescribed'. So, the additional requirements will be known after this section is notified.
