I have received a letter dated 9/4/14 stating that I have been PROVISIONALLY admitted to CA Final May 2014 Exam. Also it asks to revalidate my registration if required and to confirm that I will be serving my last 6 months of articleship as on 1.5.2014
So what do I have to do now?
P.S. This is my first attempt and I have regd. for CA Final since 20.10.2013.

You registered to CA final on 20-10-2013 means your registration is valid upto 19-10-2018, so now revalidation not required.
For confirmation of servicing last six months of articleship training as on 1-5-2014 get a certificate on a white paper from your employer regarding about your date of commencement of articleship and date of completion of articleship and leaves taken by you as on the date and send it to the ICAI from where you received letter along with your CA final registration letter received by your from ICAI.
NOTE: It is most important and very very urgent to you, if you delay in submission of it you shall loose your CA final attempt of May 2014.

Thank you for your help. But I have already mentioned the details about the commencement and completion of articleship in my exam application form. Do I still need to send the letter you are saying? Also, can you tell me till when I should send that letter (if required)?

Even you submitted along with exam form, some time ICAI asks again for confirmation, so send it again as i said above as early as possible because of there is no time limit but your admit card allotment for May 2014 exams shall be depending on your confirmation, so if there is delay in submission your admit card may not be allot for May 2014 exams.
