We have family business running in partnership but now all partners retire except one and dissolution deed prepared. But now how to obtainrd the Sole proprietirship certificate and from which department in punjab.

There is no such procedure to obtain registration for sole proprietorship business. At the most you can register your firm in sole proprietorship and obtain such certificate under the Shop Act, Sales Tax Registration office.

We have Business of Transport and there is no need for sales tax registration and moreover we are not selling anything under shop so I dont get registered under these act
