15 May 2011 If in a proprietorship firm the proprietor want to give authority to another person to operate a/c of firm in his absence then what he should do?
Operate A/c in the sense that signing cheque on his behalf, deposit, withdraw etc.

Is the another person called Mandate holder?

How he is diffrent from autorized Signatory?

15 May 2011 A "Power of Attorney" would suffice the purpose,

he has to state the venues, duties and areas where the POA would appear, sign and discharge duties on behalf of Proprietor.
