Sir im confused with treatment of proposed dividend. Have gt various diff opinions. Pls let me know how to treat proposed div in both holding co and subsidary co books.
From what i understood, dividend receivable entry will not be passed in holding co books
in subsidary co books reserves dr to proposed dividend will be passed, and proposed dividend will be a part of networth analysis. And will be split into c and r as per to date of control
