30 July 2012 Dear Sir,

I have taken residential house on rent at Rs.5000/- per month. In the begging my house owner told me that I have to paid Rs15,000/- as a deposit and need to sign 11month rent agreement. I was agreed and accepted his conditions.

After that, I have shifted to his residential property and firstly paid Rs.15,000/- as deposit by cheque. Already, 5 months has been lapsed but my house owner did not prepare rent agreement and 11month form require to be registered in the local police station.

I have follow up so many times with them as I have paid Rs.15000/- deposit and for that I need written proof from them.

During the last 5months, I am paying rent regularly of Rs.5000/- by cheque. There is no single amount has been pending from my side.

What course of action I should take now? I am ready to sign rent agreement and all the legal formalities but my house owner do not co-operate me.

30 July 2012 you will not succed in making FIR as u r not enetered into leave n license agreement with owner
just stop paying rent to owner...he only take inntitive...dont worry...
and if you pay rent to him take signature of his on a receipt that you have paid rent
better u stop paying..

From March to June. I have given him total 5 cheques. i.e. 1st for Rs15,000/- deposit and 4 cheques for the rents. Every month I handover cheques to him and he himself deposit it in his banks. There is no single cheque has been dishonored from my side. All the cheques has been clear out.

I do not have rent receipt as the person who do not prepare rent agreement and how he will issue rent receipt?

Last week, he asked for my photograph for preparing 11months agreement require to be submitted in the police station. But, still he has not prepare it. If I will stop paying the monthly rent then he may paste my photograph on the form. prepare it and signed by himself and may be blame me that I do not co-operate him for the legal formalities. Now, if I will stop the paying the rent then also he can blame me.

Kindly reply.

31 July 2012 if you are giving him rent cheques on time...deposit cheq on time...ur photographs then how can he blame you for non co-operation from u??????/

just do one thing you pay him one month's rent but after 1/2 weeks as late than as u regularly pay to him...
Scenario will be more clear to you...
Just say to him that you have some provlem/ cash crises n request him to wait for 1/2 weeks...he will show who he is in fact??
