09 November 2012 Mr. X running a CA firm as proprietorship in the name of " X & co." he gets an offer from a old CA firm to join the firm M/s AB & co. as partner in the same city. M/s AB & co. wants a partner to show as incharge of the firm' branch office in the city... Whether X can b partner or can say incharge of AB & Co. with continuation of his own firm X & co as prop. Please friends give opinions.

11 November 2012 Yes, if Mr.X so decides and has a positive frame of mind. Better if you elaborate your EXCEPTIONAL doubts in this regard.

16 November 2012 But how it will be possible to show as brach head for both Firms offices ..AB & Co. and his own prop. firm X & Co.

19 November 2012 Let us put it.... WHY NOT? Be more specific in your DOUBT? Can't a person (CA) handle /manage/ operate/.... (whatever word you think appropriate).... "n" number of clients sitting in the BOOT of say one firm? If yes... next is Can't the same person (CA) handle "m" clients of firm A and "n-m" clients of firm B?...... Now the positive mind should come into play..... waiting for your doubts....please.
