Proof for hra deduction

I want to know 1 thing , what proof is require for claiming HRA
actually i am from accounts dept.& most of the employees submit the fake rent receipts for claiming HRA
they did not mention the Pan No, of the landlord as the rent receipts are fake
so please tell me , whether the fake rent receipts will work for claiming the HRA deduction

and even the genuine rent receipts does not contain the pan no. of the landlord so what to do in this matter

so finally i want to ask 1 thing , whether the rent receipts without pan no, of landlord will work for claiming the HRA deduction

03 January 2012 You can ask for agreement between landlord and employee. Without that deduction is not allowed.

Any Employee can easily make the rent agreement on the stamp paper , so chances for making the fake rent agreement is also their
In my company 2-3 employees did that - they made the fake rent agreement

& as per my knowledge rent agreement is not the proof that u have actually paid the rent but it is only the agreement between the landlord & Employee so its does not count as proof.

so still i am confused

tell me 1 more thing - if i take the fake rent receipts ( i.e without landlord's pan no, ) then whether their is default on my part for considering it the original rent receipts
& piratically even the genuine landlord does not give the PAN no, to the employees

so what to dooooo
