20 November 2011 dear expert,
can auditor sign on project report made by him ? give any link regarding this matter if possible.
i am getting mixed opinion from my friends and seniors.

20 November 2011 A ca in whole time practice can sign project report.....because i not has reliable source but during the my articleship training period i was Finance expert in project managemnet which includes work as -Project report for new project,Projected balace sheet for increase CC limit and various other documents..but my employer was perform atteasted function during the issuence of project report...every page of project report such as (project description,profitability statement of next 5 years,Fund flow statement and balance sheet of next 5 years and various other estimates) shall be attest by the CA.

and CA shall include a clause in project report under the 1st page of project report "prepared from the information and expanations provided by the party" for his safety in future from charge of negligence in duties.

so sir if you take my practical view ca shall sign project report but appointed auditor can't sign project report.
