07 May 2009 Whenever foreign co set up Project Office in India, it has to register itself with RoC and obtain Certificate of Establishment. What if the same foreign co sets up another Project Office? Does foreign co has to obtain fresh Certificate of Establishment or make amendments to the existing one? Which form is to be used for this purpose? Thanks

07 May 2009 Permission for project office is granted for particular project and after completion of that project the co. may close project office.
In your case your co. got a new project but the name of the project office is of same co. so you can inform RBI about that they may ask for new FNC-1, even if they make amendment.

07 May 2009 thanks but query is in respect of RoC formalities and not RBI. There it is sure that one is required to file FNC1 for each project.
