26 August 2016 Is there any restriction on sale of goods imported under project import scheme, after finalisation of contract as per the rule 7 of Project Import regulations, 1986? Also, in case of other projects, how to determine the sponsoring authority, to obtain recommendation letter for concessional rate of duty under the project import scheme?? 29 August 2016 Rule 7 requires the importer submit details of import within the specified period. It does not speak about utilization / sale of Goods after completion of project. You may check up with your project authority to whom the project has been executed in writing. The name of plant/ project eligible for Project Imports and details of sponsoring authority are mentioned in Rule 7 of Project Imports Regulations , 1986 Notified under Notification No 230/ 86-Cus Dated 03.04.1986.

30 August 2016 sir, also just wanted is there any prescribed form under PIR for application making or submitting the info for finalisation of contracts under rule 7?
