can u tell me wat is a proforma invoice??

and can it differ from the real invoice generated from the seller??

23 May 2014 Performa invoice is just a type of bill generated to ease in calculating the final amount aur to take advance amount from the customers..

its just like duplicate bill having no much importance...

but you can raise fund for this.. you can provide performa bill for the running contract which completes in a longer time and u need to take advance in between the completion.. so you can take advance by giving performa invoice of the work completed

23 May 2014 a quotation is not in bill format and tax and all is not calculated on this.....

s.no. date. and everything is different

you cant take advance on basis of quotation dear

for running contracts you cant give quotationns in between the contract
