Is Professional Tax is applicable on Professional Fees/ Visiting Faculty remuneration. whoes responsbilty to make payment of Profeesional Tax.we issue Form 16 A to Visiting faculty.Kindly suggest me the relevant act.They are not employee.
Pls Guide me on the same.

If u are issuing form 16 then u are paying them salary and hence profession tax should be deducted.
