11 June 2020 i was born on 21.11.1955 and i am a professional -- all these years i was paying professional tax -- i understand the same is to be paid till age 65 years. pls guide whether this year have to pay or not? can i claim exemption or not THANKS

11 June 2020 Yes, post 65 years, you are exempt from paying Professional Tax. Though age varies from 60 to 65 years in some states.
