03 January 2014 A Practicing Chartered accountant has been appointed as an auditor of a Municipal Corporation. The municipal corporation owes the auditor a sum of Rs. 20,000 on account of tax due.

Will accepting the audit of the municipal corporation in this case will amount to professional misconduct.
